Client Agreement
The specific terms that apply to your Odin500 account: virtual trading, published portfolios, AI-managed strategies, and subscriptions.
Last updated: 2026-09-11
1. Purpose of this agreement
This Client Agreement supplements our Terms of Use and governs the specific relationship between you and Odin500 as an account holder: how your virtual trading account works, what happens when you publish a portfolio or follow another user’s, and how your subscription is billed. Where this agreement and the Terms of Use conflict on account-specific matters, this agreement controls.
2. Your account is a simulation, not a brokerage account
Odin500 is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or exchange, and is not registered as one. Opening an Odin500 account does not open a brokerage or bank account anywhere, and no real money is ever deposited, withdrawn, invested, borrowed, or margined through the Service. Your account balance, holdings, and returns are entirely simulated using historical and delayed market data as described on our Methodology page.
3. Virtual portfolios you create
You may create one or more virtual portfolios, fund them with simulated starting capital, and place simulated orders manually or through Odin500’s strategy automation tools. Simulated fills are based on delayed or end-of-day market data and may not reflect the price, timing, or availability you would receive from a real broker, especially during periods of high volatility or around corporate actions such as stock splits.
4. AI-managed portfolios
If you configure or use an AI-managed virtual portfolio, you are directing a third-party AI model to select and periodically rebalance simulated holdings according to the index, direction, sizing, and criteria you choose. You acknowledge that: the model’s selections are not vetted or endorsed by Odin500 as investment recommendations; the model can make mistakes, including selecting positions inconsistent with your stated criteria; and rebalance cadence and history depend on the automation running as scheduled, which Odin500 does not guarantee will be uninterrupted.
5. Publishing, following, and copying portfolios
If you publish a virtual portfolio, its holdings, performance, and disclosed strategy become visible to other Odin500 users, who may follow it or use a "copy" feature to create their own virtual portfolio with the same starting holdings. A published portfolio’s past simulated performance is not a guarantee of its future simulated performance, and is not a guarantee of how a copy of it will perform, since market prices move between the time a portfolio is copied and afterward.
6. Subscription plans
Odin500 offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription with expanded features. Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or as otherwise shown at checkout) through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
7. Account resets and closure
You may reset a virtual portfolio to its starting capital, or delete your account, from your account settings. Resetting or deleting is permanent and removes the associated simulated trade history; Odin500 is not able to restore it afterward.
8. No investment advice or fiduciary relationship
Nothing in this agreement or in your use of the Service creates an investment advisory, brokerage, or fiduciary relationship between you and Odin500. Odin trading signals, AI portfolio selections, and newsletter content are provided for informational and educational purposes only. See our Disclaimers & Limitations page for the full statement of risk.
