What information Odin500 collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 2026-09-11
1. Overview
This policy explains what personal information Odin500 collects when you use our website and Service, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access, correct, or delete it.
2. Information we collect
Account information you provide directly: email address, display name, and password (stored in hashed form via our authentication provider, Supabase). Usage data collected automatically: pages visited, features used, and device/browser information, via Google Analytics. Virtual trading data: the simulated portfolios, orders, and strategies you create, needed to operate the Service. Payment information: if you subscribe to Pro, Stripe collects and processes your payment card details directly; Odin500 never receives or stores your full card number.
3. How we use your information
To provide and maintain the Service, including your account, virtual portfolios, and published content. To process subscription payments through Stripe. To send you Service-related communications, and the weekly newsletter if you subscribe to it. To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service. To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Use.
5. Content you choose to publish
If you publish a virtual portfolio, its name, description, disclosed strategy, and simulated performance are visible to other users and may appear in public leaderboards. This is a deliberate choice you make when you publish, not a passive collection of your data — you can unpublish a portfolio from your account at any time.
7. Data retention
We retain account and virtual-portfolio data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from your profile settings, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account information from your profile settings at any time. You can delete your account, which removes your personal information subject to the retention exceptions above. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights to access, correct, port, or object to processing of your personal information; contact us through the in-app support channel to exercise them.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date; material changes will be highlighted in the Service.
11. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy, or requests to exercise your data rights, can be sent through the in-app support channel from your account settings.
