1. Not investment, legal, or tax advice
Nothing on Odin500 — including market data, charts, Odin trading signals, the weekly newsletter, AI-managed virtual portfolios, or any other content — is investment, legal, or tax advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Odin500 is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult a qualified, licensed professional before making them.
2. Simulated trading is not real trading
All trading on Odin500, including AI-managed and user-created virtual portfolios, is simulated ("paper trading"). No real money is ever deposited, invested, or at risk. Simulated fills are based on historical or delayed OHLC market data and simplified assumptions about price and timing, and do not account for factors that affect real trading such as bid-ask spreads, order-book liquidity, slippage during fast markets, exchange fees, taxes, and broker-specific execution quality. Simulated performance, including past performance of any portfolio shown on the Service, should not be relied on as an indicator of how the same strategy would perform with real capital.
3. AI portfolio simulator limitations
The AI portfolio simulator uses third-party large language models to select and rebalance simulated holdings. These models can misinterpret instructions, rely on incomplete or stale information, or produce inconsistent output between runs. Odin500 does not review, vet, or endorse individual AI-selected holdings before they appear in a simulated portfolio, and does not warrant that any AI-managed portfolio’s selections are suitable for any particular investment objective or risk tolerance.
4. Odin trading signals are decision-support tools only
Odin signals are generated by proprietary quantitative models that evaluate historical price action, trend structure, and statistical patterns, as described on our Methodology page. They are decision-support indicators, not predictions, guarantees, or recommendations. A signal can be wrong, can lag a change in market conditions, and past signal accuracy on any ticker does not guarantee future accuracy.
5. Market data accuracy and delay
Market data, prices, and quotes displayed on Odin500 may be delayed, may be sourced from third-party data providers, and may contain errors, gaps, or restatements (for example around corporate actions such as stock splits). Odin500 does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data on the Service, and you should independently verify any data point before relying on it for a real trading decision.
6. Third-party content
News headlines, company information, and other third-party content displayed on Odin500 are aggregated from external providers and are not authored, fact-checked, or endorsed by Odin500. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; Odin500 is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any site we do not operate.
7. Service provided "as is"
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Odin500 does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Odin500 and its owners, employees, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any decision you make based on Odin signals, AI-managed portfolio selections, market data, or newsletter content, whether or not you also traded with real money elsewhere.
9. Assumption of risk
By using Odin500, you acknowledge that investing and trading real securities involves substantial risk of loss, that simulated results on this Service do not represent real trading and are not a guarantee of future results, and that you are voluntarily assuming these risks in connection with any real-world investment decision you make, whether or not informed by anything you saw on Odin500.
